Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi is hopeful that the BBI case ongoing at the Court o Appeal will not bear fruits.
Sudi, who is an ardent opposer of the constitution amendment bill faulted Lawyer Otiende Amollo for saying that President Uhuru did not promote the BBI.
“To my colleague Otiende Amollo, I do not remember Junet Mohamed and Dennis Waweru hosting Bomas 1 & 2. This is laughable. I really sympathize with the judges; may God guide them through this difficult journey,” Oscar Sudi said.
The MP threw shade at Rarieda MP, after his argument in court, naming members of the BBI secretariat (Junet and Waweru) as the persons behind the constitution amendment.
While in the court, Rarieda MP and lawyer Amollo faulted the court for saying that the President was the brain behind the BB bill.
“The one thing the court (High Court which declared the BBI bill unconstitutional) does not do in their 300-page judgment is fail to ask who are the promoters,

“BBI is an initiative promoted by (Dennis ) Waweru and Junet (Mohammed). They engaged with the IEBC and collected the signatures,” Otiende Amollo argued.
He told the court that IEBC accepted Junet and Waweru’s initiative and were authorized to collect signatures from Kenyans.
“They collected the signatures and submitted them to IEBC which did a letter to the counties and confirmed to them who the promoters of the BBI are,
“Without a doubt, the promoters of the initiative are the two gentlemen that I have mentioned above,” said the Rarieda MP.
Other than Oscar Sudi, Nominated senator Millicent Omanga has also faulted Otiende Amollo’s argument.
“Senior Council Otiende Amollo submits that the president (Uhuru Kenyatta) is not the promoter of BBI bill. He says this without blinking an eye, and he expects us to believe him,” tweeted Millicent Omanga.
