Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has undergone his seventh surgery after his feet were burnt by a faulty electric blanket.
On his social media platform, Moses Kuria rejoiced that the seventh surgery he has had within a period of two months was successful.
The Gatundu South MP was sarcastic, crediting his successful surgery to the prayers of Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru with who they recently had an online fight.
“Just woke up from the seventh surgery in 2 months. God is indeed faithful. Thank you all for the prayers Cate Waruguru,” he wrote.
His message to Cate Waruguru was sarcastic since the Laikipia county MP had wished Moses Kuria bad luck after his admission to the hospital months ago.
“You will know no peace, here on earth,” read a message that Waruguru sent to ailing Moses Kuria.
Then, Moses Kuria thanked the Woman Rep for her message, saying he will pray that her wish is not done.
Later, the Woman Rep explained why she had wished Moses Kuria bad luck with his health condition.
“Moses Kuria now I know hospital bed has humbled you to prayers and not insults,
“I am sorry your feet are deep-fried and burnt. Whoever bought that warmer machine without a proper doctor’s prescription will tell us why your nerves failed you,
“Anyway my polite reminder is when you insult women with our infant children & dead parents……Tunakuwanga human beings too,(we are human beings too)
“Enjoy the sympathy for now. You carry the Trophy ” most insensitive Leader” Quick healing in your 2nd surgery/ Grafting,” Waruguru wrote.
The Gatundu South MP burnt his feet in a warmer that he purchased locally to heal his feet which get numb and tired from frequent travels.
“This gadget happened to do a slow-burning of my feet, I was trying to cure a problem by introducing a killer solution…
“I went home at night and my feet just exploded. I came here the following day, they said I had third-degree burns,” Moses Kuria explained.
