On Friday, April 22, the country was thrown into mourning following the demise of Kenya’s third President Mwai Kibaki.

Kibaki who has been touted as the most cherished president of the 21st century died aged 90.

According to Kibaki’s eldest daughter-in-law and wife to Jimmy, Kibaki’s grandchildren were the most heard hit following the announcement of his demise by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“The grandchildren were hit the hardest since they are younger but with time we will be able to bear the burden and the void that Mzee has left,” Jimmy’s wife said in an interview with Citizen TV.
