Abduba Dida: Corruption will be national anthem under William Ruto presidency

by Nderi Caren

Former Presidential aspirant Mwalimu Abduba Dida has claimed that William Ruto’s presidency will be filled with corruption scandals.

The Alliance of Real Change party leader argued that William Ruto’s allies will also be a threat to public funds.

The outspoken former High School teacher further said William Ruto is assembling many political allies who will be seeking to repay themselves under his (William Ruto’s) presidency.

He compared William Ruto with Raila Odinga, whom he said is winning souls instead of assembling politicians whose value has deteriorated.

“Raila (Odinga) is out there winning hearts and moving souls while Ruto is just buying brand new secondhand politicians,

“Just how many politicians can you fit in a single group? What happens if he (William Ruto) wins? Make no mistake, all these mouths will feed. Corruption will be the national anthem,” Mwalimu Abduba Dida wrote in a tweet.

His comments come at a time when William Ruto has attracted many new political allies, especially from the doomed Jubilee Party.

The latest member to join Ruto’s camp was Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru who had been a big fan of President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

“It is only a fool who can continue being in the same political path with the kind of pressure that I have been facing,”
You cannot dictate to them. I have shifted to support the Bottom-Up Economic Development Model,” Waiguru said after joining Ruto’s camp on October 26.

Additionally, Ruto’s camp is staring at welcoming a new member after a hint by Nyeri Town MP Ngujiri Wambugu on joining UDA.

In a surprise change of tune, Ngujiri Wambugu hinted at the ground shifting towards William Ruto.

“I have been listening to the ground, and it’s clear that 2022 is between Raila Odinga and William Ruto. The questions to determine this election might be in whose hands are we safe?” Ngunjiri wrote in a social media post.
