In the build-up to the dramatic 2007 General Election, Bishop Edward Mwai of Jesus Winner Ministry correctly predicted that late President Mwai Kibaki would win the presidency.

Five years later, the man of God once again predicted that President Uhuru Kenyatta would beat the then Prime Minister Raila Odinga, a prediction that came to pass.

As the countdown to the August 9 General Election hits fever pitch, the man of God has predicted who will carry the day.

In the build-up to the dramatic 2007 General Election, Bishop Edward Mwai of Jesus Winner Ministry correctly predicted that late President Mwai Kibaki would win the presidency.

On Sunday, June 19, Bishop Mwai sensationally predicted that the Kenya Kwanza presidential flag bearer William Ruto would emerge victorious in the August 9, presidential elections.

Speaking during a church service at the Winner Ministry in Roysambu the clergy assured the United Democratic Movement (UDA) supporters that Ruto will form the next government.

“Siwadanganyi hawa watashinda (I am not lying to you these people will win). I told you during this year’s crossing-over celebrations that where you will see leaders running, those are the ones who will lead the country after elections. Where have you seen political leaders migrating to? If it is here, then you got the answer,” he said.

The Bishop further took a swipe at those clergy making empty promises to Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party flag bearer Raila Odinga that he will win.

He exuded confidence in the prayers he conducted to the 2022 presidential election front runner William Ruto stating that his prayers will never go unanswered.

“I know that everyone has their pastors and everyone has been prayed for, but the prayers that we have made today will bring an extraordinary favour to Kenya Kwanza,” Bishop Mwai said.

Ruto will be facing off with Raila Odinga and the other two candidates including George Wajackoyah of the Roots party of Kenya.

This comes at a time when most of the opinion polls are spelling doom on deputy president William Ruto’s State House bid.
