Boni Khalwale welcomes new member to his big family, names her after late wife

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has celebrated the birth of a new grandson on his social media platforms.

In a statement on his social media pages of Tuesday, June 5, the vocal Politian characteristically noted that his son Tigana Khalwale’s wife Valary had delivered a bouncing baby girl.

Khalwale, who is eying the Kakamega gubernatorial seat in the August 9, General Election named the newborn after his late wife Adelaide Shikanga Khalwale.

The politician, a known polygamist, is famous for always celebrating his children and//or grandchildren’s academic excellence as well as births in his big family.

It is not unusual to hear Khalwale congratulate a member of his family after the results of any national exams are announced.

Three months ago, Khalwale took to his social media platforms to celebrate his children who had performed exemplary in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2021.

“Blessings in abundance. Last night at Nairobi Hospital, the long wait for the reincarnation of my late wife Adelaide Shikanga Khalwale came to a happy end. God blessed my family with Candice Shikanga Khalwale,

“Congratulations Tigana Khalwale for filling the void left by your mother’s demise,” the UDA politician said in a Tweet welcoming the new family member.

The late Adelaide Shikanga Khalwale died in 2019 after having suffered from cancer of the blood (multiple myeloma).

Kenyans have overwhelmingly joined the Former Kakamega county senator in celebrating the birth of his grandchild.

“Condolences for the Loss of your Wife. Congratulations to baby Candice.

We have a CBC candidate for 2033.” wrote another Twitter user.
