In what appeared to depict the real hustler, Wetangula’s pair of shoes not only appeared dusty but also worn out suggesting that they were old.

While some said old is gold, the shoes raised mixed reactions from many Kenyans online, and became the subject of jokes.

However, while a section of Kenyans mocked the vocal legislator, others noted that the shoes might be pretty pricey, something that makes the veteran Kenyan lawyer love wearing them.
