Uasin Gishu politician and businessman Bundotich Ezekiel Kiprop (Buzeki) has dismissed William Ruto’s recent economic meeting with Kikuyu elders.

This is after Deputy President Willian Ruto, economist David Ndii and a section of Mt. Kenya politician allied to Ruto went for a three-day retreat at the Maasai Mara Game reserve to discuss economic issues affecting Kenya as he plans to take a stab at the presidency in 2022.

Buzeki, a strong critic of the Deputy President likened Ruto’s economic seminar to the work of washing the feet of hens which is basically an exercise in futility as the hen’s feet will immediately get dirty.

“This economic seminar ni kazi ya kusafisha kuku mguu (washing the feet of hens), itarudi kukanyaga mchanga tena (the hen will get dirty almost immediately after being washed). All corrupt leaders must fall in 2022 period. Economic growth is allergic to corruption,” Buzeki said.
