“It’s now clear where the vision is heading. After many days of consultative meetings with my South Imenti people, I have officially been invited to join UDA,” MC Jessy said.

He said when he got a call from the chief Hustler inviting him to his official residence, he knew he has landed on a winning side

“The groundwork that has been done has finally landed on the side of the winning team. When I got the call from the chief Hustler Inviting me, I had to heed my People’s call and his call to join the winning Team. And may the work of redefining South Imenti Now begin,” he added.

While welcoming him to the UDA, Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto crowned him the signature UDA cap at his Karen residence.

Imenti South parliamentary seat is currently being held by Murungi Kathuri who won on an independent ticket.

MC Jessy joins a long list of artists eying political seats in the upcoming General Election.
