Speaking on Monday, October 17, during World Food Day in Kajiado County, the immediate former Mathira MP said he had finally met the girl and that he has offered her a job opportunity at his Harambee Annex office.

“The young lady watched me during the deputy presidential debate with Martha Karua and thought my name was a bit difficult,

“She then decided to make it a little melodious and crafted Riggy G. I have looked for her and awarded her a job opportunity in my office,” Gachagua said.

However, the Deputy President did not disclose which role Chelimo would take up.

On her part, Chelimo, a Catholic University alumn thanked Gachagua, noting that he is very passionate about empowering the youth.

“Gachagua offered me a job in his office this morning. He made a statement saying when the youth will be told that they are the leaders of tomorrow. It has to happen now,

“I thank you for the job you offered me today in the morning. Thank you so much,” Chelimo said.

The content creator in one of her latest media interviews said she coined the name after realizing that Gachagua had won the hearts of many during the heated deputy presidential debate at the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA).
