Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday, April,24 treated his United Democratic Alliance politicians to a sumptuous nyama choma lunch.

After attending the Sunday service at Deliverance Church Zimmerman, Roysambu, Nairobi County the deputy president took his entourage to Quivers lounge, a popular joint along Kiambu road for lunch.

Socialite Karen Nyamu who recently pulled out of the Nairobi senatorial race to social media to reveal the details of the lunch.

“Leo tumepeleka (today we have taken) the 5th Quiver Lounge & Grill for lunch. Great name choma as always,” Karen Nyamu wrote on Twitter.

Among the leaders who shared the delicious lunch with the deputy president included Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Johnson Sakaja, Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga, EALA MP Simon Mbugua, MP Moses Kuria among others.

In pictures shared online by Nyamu, the DP is seen as interesting by members of the public who wanted to take selfies with the second in command.

While on a campaign trail of Nyamira Couty last year DP Ruto shared pictures ms of him taking tea at a low-end hotel dubbed Bottom-Up Hotel, which considerably is his campaign slogan.

The move by the DP Ruto at a high-end joint especially during the campaign period is unlike him as he has always been a favorite to low-end hotels commonly referred to as ‘hustlers hotels’

Also while campaigning in Kiambu County in 2019 while on the campaign trail, the Kenya Kwanza alliance supremo shared pictures of him and his allies enjoying a cup of tea at a canteen in Lusigetti Market, Kikuyu constituency.
