Ex-CS Rashid Echesa: Atwoli give me 1 hour and I will make your wife pregnant

by Amos Khaemba

Former Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Rashid Echesa has hilariously mocked COTU boss Francis Atwoli by requesting one hour with the trade unionist’s wife so he can impregnate her.

Speaking in Mumias on Tuesday, February 8, during the Kenya Kwanza rally where politicians allied to the formations took time to attack Atwoli, Echesa lashed out at the vibrant unionist for being at the forefront for insulting other leaders.

He warned Atwoli that Western leaders will not respect him if he doesn’t respect them first.

“If you want your child to be named William Ruto and Musalia Mudavadi; Atwoli please just give me 1 hour with your (wife Mary) Kilobi, you will be shocked,” Echesa said as the crowd cheered him on.

He castigated the firebrand trade unionist for suggesting that DP William Ruto will commit suicide after the August 9 presidential elections because he shall have lost to Raila Odinga.

Echesa similarly advised Atwoli’s wife to be on the lookout out, saying it is the COTU boss who will commit suicide using the gold chains he wears.

Echesa commended the move by Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula to join forces with William Ruto, saying it has placed the Luhya community in a strategic position to be in the next government.

The former CS’s harsh words came after Mudavadi also dared the outspoken Francis Atwoli to face him directly instead of hiding behind President Uhuru.

“Stop hiding behind President Uhuru to abuse people, if you are man enough come and abuse me here and face directly but don’t hide behind the president,” Mudavadi said as the crowd cheered.

The remarks by Kenya Kwanza leaders come after the vocal unionist insulted the deputy president in front of President Uhuru, saying Ruto will commit suicide on August 9, after losing the election.
