Ex Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko continued to cry foul as Anne Kananu was officially sworn in as the third Governor of Nairobi County.
In a lengthy social media post, Sonko detailed how his impeachment from the office of the governor was orchestrated by some judges and their handlers.
The ex Nairobi governor released various recordings detailing how his opponents from State House, Nairobi Metropolitan Service(NMS), and the County Assembly worked with Judge Said Chitembwe to seal his fate.
In one of the recordings a man, ostensibly by the name Amana Saidi Jirani, allegedly a relative and close confidant of Judge Said Chitembwe said that he collected KSh 3, 900,000 and delivered it to the judge.
He confessed that there are MCAs who wanted Justice Chitembwe to fix Mike Sonko in a case to remove him from office.
Another secret video shows Amana Saidi Jirani with another man meeting what seems to be Justice Chitambwe at a discrete location.
“I am the one who takes care of the interests of Judge Chitembwe. George from State House blackmailed the MCAs. After speaking with George at Maendeleo House, we went to an office at the upper hill,” Amana said in the video.
The witness said NMS’ General Badi, MCA Guyo were aware of what was happening.
One of the scenes captured Judge Chitembwe talking to anonymous persons on how he will pull the stunt.
“I know if you have money we can facilitate these things in court very fast. One writes.. under the table, he calls his clients to sign. Give me the papers I will do that job at the court of appeal,” Chitembwe said.
Sonko accused Chitembwe of not only facilitating his removal from office, but also other offenses.
“The series is a mixture of corrupt and fraudulent land dealings, my impeachment, sex for justice escapades and succession cases where widows, widowers, orphans, and investors have been denied justice, as evident by the actions of Honourable Justice Juma Saidi Chitembwe and some of his fellow learned judges who have conspired to deny me justice by facilitating the hurried swearing-in of the incoming Governor,” he said.
