Miguna Miguna predicts William Ruto to defeat Raila Odinga in 2022 presidential elections

Controversial lawyer Migiuna Miguna has claimed Deputy President William Ruto will easily defeat ODM leader Raila Odinga in the 2022 presidential race.

In a series of tweets on Monday, September 6, the exiled lawyer said the deputy president will win the 2022 presidential poll by 10 am.

“I have never been wrong on political strategy. That is why Raila Odinga begged me to advise him in 2006 and 2017. Get this: William Ruto will defeat Raila (Odinga) at 10 AM,” he said.

According to him, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake counterpart have made the former Agriculture Minister popular through the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

He said the more the president and former Prime Minister continue to impose the unpopular BBI bill on Kenyans through their allies, the more Kenyans continue losing hope in them.

“All politicians look for support. Blame President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and the BBI for making (William) Ruto popular. Unfortunately for them, it is too late. That is the truth,” Miguna said.

Miguna Miguna said this at a time when 2022 succession politics has caught steam with about 11 months to a General Election that will see Kenyans elect their fifth president.

The former Raila Odinga’s aid further said the ODM leader, highly considered to be President Uhuru’s best successor will fail just like Uhuru failed in 2002.

“Daniel Arap Moi believed, wrongly, that all he needed was billions of shillings, the dreaded Special Branch, Police, Provincial Administration, and KANU to impose Uhuru Kenyatta on Kenyans in 2002. He failed. Mark my words: Uhuru Kenyatta will fail. Viva!” he said.

Despite the nation inching towards the electioneering period, Raila Odinga is yet to publicly declare whether he will run for the top seat in the 2022 polls but his close associates have been giving strong hints that he will be on the ballot.

In April 2021, Wiliam Ruto said United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the hustler’s vehicle that will deliver the presidency to the hustler nation in the 2022 General Election.
