Malava Member of Parliament (MP) Malulu Injendi has ditched Deputy president William Ruto again for Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC) party ahead of 2022 General Election.
The party on Wednesday, April 14, confirmed the move through its official Twitter account, thanking the lawmaker for returning home.
“Malulu Injendi returns home. Malava MP defects to ANC from Tanga Tanga,’’ ANC said.

Kivumbi.co.ke understands that the Jubilee elect lawmaker in December 2020, changed tune and drummed up support for the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) shortly after meeting ODM party leader Raila Odinga and Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
Two weeks later, the legislator defected back to the Ruto’s camp over claims that he was uncomfortable adding that Oparanya and Raila duped him.
He accused Kakamega governor for taking him to Raila Odinga without his consent.
“Oparanya, you never told me we were going to meet Raila. You took me, and we started talking about things I never understood. I wanted to talk about constituency issues, but you engaged me in things that I never understood. I denounce all that happened on that day,” he said.
Malulu’s deflection comes at a time political parties and politicians are restructuring as the race to the 2022 General Election gains momentum.
Yesterday, Kivumbi.co.ke reported that Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya is on the verge of ditching Raila’s reggae for the Deputy president’s hustler movement.
Malulu’s defection from Tanga Tanga comes barely weeks after speculations emerged that Kimilili MP Didimus Barasa had ditched William Ruto.
The vocal lawmaker however said he had just taken a four-month sabbatical from active politics to concentrate on his job of serving the people of Kimilili and Kenya at large.
