Former US President Barrack Obama shows off all grown daughters ‘proud father’

On Sunday, June 19, the world celebrated Father’s Day, a day of honouring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society.

Women across the globe trooped to social media to celebrate their fathers for the pivotal role they played in their lives.

Usually, women are the ones who post their dads and husbands.

However, former President of the United States of America (USA) Barack Obama took to Facebook and celebrated himself for being a husband and a father of daughters.

Obama ringed in the special occasion of Father’s Day by dropping an adorable picture featuring his wife, Michelle Obama, and daughters Malia and Sasha all of the same height as their mum.

The 44th US President posted the photo with a heartwarming note in which he said that he was the ‘most proud’ of being the father of his two daughters.
The proud father of two also called himself the ‘family’s designated photographer.’

Obama posted a picture which showed him clicking a photograph of his family as they posed in front of a portrait of Michelle Obama at a museum.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father-figures celebrating today. Of all that I’ve done in my life, I’m most proud of being Malia and Sasha’s dad… and the family’s designated photographer,” he captioned his photo on Facebook.

In other news, lawyer Esther Ang’awa wished a happy Father’s Day to all Mothers who are fathers to their own children and those of others.

“Especially my Mama, Nyargi Michele, Nyar Kodongo. God Bless Kenya and its women,” she said in a Tweet
