Gatundu South MP suggests Jubilee party is officially dead after attacks against William Ruto

by Enock Ndayala

Outspoken Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has ridiculed the ruling outfit minutes after the Jubilee party questioned how Deputy President William Ruto acquired his wealth.

Kuria who is associated with the Chama Cha Kazi urged Jubilee party members to look for alternative political vehicles ahead of the the2022 General Election.

He said the party was dead and it would be easier for the dead to be resurrected than to resurrect the party that was once the most popular in the country.

“Rest in peace, Jubilee Party. You shall never arise, even on resurrection day. Good to see your orphans looking for adopters and shelter,” said Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.

The Jubilee Party has been losing supporters following poor results in the recent by-elections and has announced that it will join Raila Odinga’s party in the next general election to restore its lost glory.

Kuria’s remarks come hours after Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju faulted the former Agriculture Minister’s wealth and how he acquired it within a short time.

Tuju satirically listed some of William Ruto’s wealth and questioned how his businesses kept on blossoming and sprouting so fast.

“By his own account, the Deputy President is on Video record when he told Kenyans that he was worth 100 million Kenya shillings in the year 2015. In the intervening seven years,

“He has “worked very hard” in his businesses and now, therefore, he has assets like choppers, hotels, and land worth billions of shillings,” read a statement by Raphael Tuju.

Last week, the Deputy President said he rakes in a massive KSh 1.5 million daily from the sale of eggs.

Tuju further asked the deputy president to teach the youth skills on how to acquire wealth so fast instead of giving them wheelbarrows.

“May it please His Excellency the DP, William Ruto, show these our young people all the skills on how to acquire such property in such a short time,” Tuju said.
