Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has left tongues wagging after posting a photo of a lady online, months after his highly publicised breakup with his second wife.
Itt appeared like the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader had found a perfect replacement to former Machakos first lady Lilian Ng’ang’a.
From the comment section, many suggested the lady, whose identity was not immediately clear to many, is fit for him considering he is a senior bachelor, 50 years, as of now.
Kivumbi.co.ke has however established that the lady is Evelyn Kavuu, the Machakos county government official working as the CECM for Energy, Lands, and Urban Development.
In August 2021, Mutua, who is eying to be Raila’s presidential running mate separated amicably with former Machakos first lady Lilian Nganga after ten years in the public limelight.
“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end my long-term relationship with Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends,” Lilian posted on Instagram.
With this, she said, “I put down the Machakos first lady cap and what an honor it has been to be of service I will continue to do projects close to my heart, charity work through the Lilian Nganga Foundation.”
