Hassan Joho says William Ruto is too angry to be president

by Enock Ndayala

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has sensationally claimed that Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto is filled with anger, a factor he says is not good for leadership moreso the presidency.

Joho, who is also the ODM deputy party leader further claimed that William Ruto has so much hatred.

“Ala! So much hatred and anger. Chuki noma sanaaaa (too much bile),” Joho said in a Tweet on Sunday, January 30 with William Ruto’s video.

Joho was responding to a video by the deputy president who was captured angrily lecturing President Uhuru Kenyatta for supporting his handshake partner Raila Odinga.

In the video, William Ruto confidently reminded his boss of how he was rejected in the 2002 General Election adding that his preferred successor will be rejected just like he (President Uhuru) was rejected.

“I want to tell my friend the president of Kenya that the people of Kenya rejected a project 20 years ago. There is no way the people of Kenya today in the 21st century can elect anybody’s puppet,

“The people of Kenya are going to make a conscious decision and they will not buy the nonsense of a project from anybody including a project from the deep state and state machinery,” William Ruto said.

Last year, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi made similar remarks stating that the former Eldoret North Member of Parliament is filled with anger, a factor that makes him unfit to succeed outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Mudavadi who spoke during a burial ceremony in Nandi County said both the deputy president and ODM leader Raila Odinga are not the best for Kenyans because they are bitter at times.

“Na ukweli ni kwamba ukiangalia uso wa Ruto hasira, ukiona uso wa Raila hasira, you see anger you see bitterness, ukweli ama uongo? (The truth is that if you look at Ruto and Raila’s faces, you see anger, bitterness, true or false?) Mudavadi posed.

“Therefore Kenya needs a leader who can lead it well, not a leader filled with anger,” Mudavadi added.
