The Chief Administrative Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Mercy Mwangangi enticed Migori residents on Thursday, December 2 after asking for a husband.
The 35-year-old state official, who had accompanied Raila Odinga on his campaign tour in the region said the ODM leader told her she can find a Luo suitor there.
“Listen to me…while coming here with Baba(Raila Odinga) he promised me that I can get a husband here. Give me a husband,” Mercy Mwangangi said sending the crowd into a frenzy.
The sassy CAS, who is single, caught the attention of many Kenyans in 2020 after making several appearances in the media to address the coronavirus pandemic matters.
Kenyan men on social media could not hide the fact that they were head over heels for the new beauty in town.
On the other hand, marriage conversations among young ladies have been dominating Raila Odinga’s latest campaign meetings.
During a meeting with youths from Mt Kenya on October 12, a suitor reached out to Raila Odinga’s daughter Winnie to be his wife.
Winnie told the man that she will get married after her dad becomes the Head of State.
“Tell them that I said, Winnie Odinga will get married in 2022, on the lawns of State House, And you are all invited, so if you want that to happen, go register to vote,” she said after issuing an arguably powerful speech to youths.
