A video, where Meru Senator Mithika Linturi is accused of sneaking into a woman’s room, has finally surfaced.

In the video that is circulating online, one can see how the Meru senator was burst pants down in a bed where someone’s wife was.

Linturi who is also a gubernatorial aspirant for Meru County is seen pleading for mercy while blaming his trespassing on alcohol he had been imbibing hours before being caught.

Linturi who is seen seated on a bed with a towel wrapped around his waist, a clear indication of what he planned to do with the lady who was asleep in that bed, appears speechless and shocked at the turn of events.

In the video, Linturi is being questioned by three men who wondered how he confused another room with his, only to blame it on alcohol.

When asked if he had come to the hotel with a woman, Linturi answered in the affirmative even though he claimed the woman he came with was as drunk as him.

“Niko naye…mimi hata sijui, yeye pia ni mlevi, (Yes I have (another woman), I don’t know if she knows where I am because she is also intoxicated)” Linturi is heard saying in the video.

This video is related to the case where the William Ruto ally is accused of attempted rape in an incident that happened at Mayian Villas, in Nanyuki.

It was alleged that he sneaked into a couple’s hotel room and attempted to sleep with a woman without her knowledge as the husband was outside drinking with friends.

The video has surfaced at a time when crucial pieces of evidence related to the case are reported to have vanished.

The lead investigator in the case told the court on Wednesday, March 30 that his office is probing claims of nude photos and videos of the incident being deleted.

The revelations came after Linturi made an application seeking to terminate the attempted rape charge because the police have failed to provide documents in their possession.

Linturi had wanted the state to produce an abstract from the Nanyuki police station, nude photographs, and videos that the victim and her husband took of him at Maiyan villas on that day.
