Other than the Head of State, the man also has gifts lined up for the first lady, Margaret Kenyatta.

“I have a handbag with two lesos inside, for the First Lady,” he said.

The Homa Bay man said he also has gifts for the President’s mum, Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

“For Mama Ngina Kenyatta, my grandmother, I have a handbag with two lesos inside, and a Luo traditional basket, a bigger one and a small one.”

According to the artisan, he does not mind digging deep inside his pocket to appreciate the First family because of the love he has for President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“It has cost me above KSh 1 Million. I don’t value the money I spent to give my president a gift,” he claimed.

Eric was impressed with the development projects the Jubilee government has set up in the Nyanza region.
