UDA Chairman Johnson Muthama has said that Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has lost his glory as the Eastern region kingpin.

According to Muthama, who is Kalonzo Musyoka’s staunch opponent in the Ukambani region, the latter has also lost national appeal to become the President of Kenya.

In a tweet on Sunday, November 7, Muthama accused Kalonzo of meddling with grassroots politics in the Ukambani region.

“Kalonzo Musyoka has lost National political appeal to become President in this Country and this has made him to go back home and start meddling in village politics through venting off his anger on innocent electorate,” Muthama wrote.

The UDA Chairman further exposed Kalonzo for fighting local MCA’s who are not supporting him.

“It’s surprising and bordering to absurdity to see him fighting MCA Kalumaita, Beth Syengo (ODM & Raila Odinga’s Supporter) and Musyoka wa Maiu (William Ruto’s Supporter) in Kitui County because they don’t support him. This shows something has gone wrong with him,” he said.

He further explained that Kalonzo Musyoka has been interfering with the families of his opponents in the Eastern region in order to give an impression that they are his supporters too.

“It’s illogical and preposterous for him to go pick Musyoka’s (wa Maiu) children for photo session to prove to him that they are his supporters,

For some time now, Kalonzo has cultivated a culture in South Eastern of interfering with families of his opponents because he feels he is untouchable. Someone tell him that, he has lost grassroot support,” Muthama said.

The UDA Chairman and Kalonzo Musyoka are known to be political rivals since 2017, when the latter left Wiper Party.

Kalonzo Musyoka, who is accused of interfering with the families of opponents fronted Muthama’s ex-wife Agnes Kavindu as the Wiper candidate in the Machakos senatorial by-elections.
