In a press statement by Secretary-General Raphael Tuju on Monday, the Party listed some of DP Ruto’s wealth, questioning how his business kingdom keeps getting wide and wide.

“By his own account, the Deputy President is on Video record when he told Kenyans that he was worth 100 million Kenya shillings in the year 2015. In the intervening seven years,

“He has “worked very hard” in his businesses and now, therefore, he has assets like choppers, hotels, and land worth billions of shillings,” read a statement by Raphael Tuju.

The Jubilee Secretary General mocked Ruto for not teaching the youths how to amass wealth as he has done.

“May it please His Excellency the DP, William Ruto, EGH, UPL, DL, CH to show these our young people all the skills on how to acquire such property in such a short time,”

“After rising from KSh 100 millionon net worth seven years ago to a multibillionaire, William Ruto should teach us how to build wealth fast,” said Tuju.

The Statement comes a week after Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i exposed some of the businesses and properties owned by DP Ruto.

In his expose’ Matiang’i said that Ruto’s wealth and personal homes are guarded by 257 police officers.

However, the DP responded to Matiang’i’s revelations, saying that he owns only 70% of the mentioned property.

In a clap back to the CS, Ruto said that there are some details about his wealth he forgot to mention.

Among them are his 400,000 Safaricom shares, 200,000 chickens from which he makes Ksh 1.5 million daily from selling eggs.
