Kakamega senator compares Raila Odinga to an impotent man

by Enock Ndayala

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has said that there is no difference between ODM leader Raila Odinga and an impotent man as the county enters a high octane political period.

While drumming up support for Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto, the legislator said it is high time the Luhya community votes for a different presidential candidate in the August 2022 elections.

While likening the former premier to an impotent man, Malala said the Mulembe nation has voted for a Raila presidency for 15 years without him winning and a similar scenario is most likely to recur in the August 9, General Election.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has sensationally said that there is no difference between ODM leader Raila Odinga and an impotent man.

“Tumekuwa tukipiga kura tukianguka kila wakati. 2007 tulipigia Raila kura tukaanguka. 2013 tulipigia Raila kura tena tukaanguka. 2017 vilevile tulipigia Raila Odinga kura tukaanguka,

“Sasa sisi tumesema hata tukimpatia 2022 atatoboa kweli? Wewe kama uko na bibi na miaka 15 umekaa na yeye na hujampatia mimba, ukipewa usiku mmoja utapatia yeye mimba kweli?”

Loosely translated to “We have been voting but losing in all the contests. In 2007 we voted for Raila and lost. In 2013 we voted for Raila again and he lost. In 2017 we also voted for Raila Odinga but could not win,

“Now we are asking will he win if we vote for him in 2022? If you have been married for 15 years and you have not made her pregnant, even if you are given one night will you really get her pregnant?” Malala posed amid uproar from UDA supporters.

The Kakamega gubernatorial hopeful further castigated President Uhuru Kenyatta for helping Raila to find the best running mate who would give his estranged deputy William Ruto a run for his money.

He said that is a ploy by the president to continue running government affairs even after his retirement.

“Sasa Uhuru Kenyatta anataka kutawala Kenya kupitia deputy wa Raila (Uhuru Kenyatta now wants to rule Kenya through Raila’s deputy),” he said.

Malala who was speaking in Kakamega on Wednesday, February 9, further urged their supporters not to give Raila Odinga even a single vote.

“We want to tell you Uhuru Kenyatta, kama wewe ni mwanaume, jaribu uje uibe kura ya Kenya Kwanza hapa Kakamega ndio utajua sisi ni nani,” Malala said.
