Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of making conditions unbearable in the NASA coalition and likened the ODM leader to a husband who abandoned his family after getting another woman

The Senator has warned his Amani National Coalition Party leader Musalia Mudavadi against falling for the trap or reviving the national Super Alliance with Raila at the helm again.

Speaking at a church function over the weekend, the outspoken senator asked his party leader to not look back considering the coalition is currently technically dead.

“Our party (ANC) has been in a marriage for five years and in this marriage, we have been beaten. Our husband gets drunk, comes to beat us, he doesn’t give us food. Any food he gets, he eats it alone,

“When we expected that our husband has found something, he got a ‘Mpango wa Kando’ (another woman) and left us,

“ANC party is in an abusive marriage, and we want your prayers. Please pray for us so that our Party leader (Musalia Mudavadi) does not go back to the NASA marriage, let him focus on the future,” Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala said during a church function on July 12.

In his parable, Malala likened Raila to the abusive husband, and Uhuru is the Mpango wa Kando who takes him away from his family.

His sentiments come as plans to revive the NASA coalition gains momentum.

ODM leader Raila Odinga has stood out to be the one co-principal who is very passionate about reviving the NASA coalition.

On July 9, Raila Odinga said that NASA was still standing strong and even promised to bring President Uhuru Kenyatta on board.

However, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi holds the same opinion as that of Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala

During a tour in Nairobi on Saturday, July 10, Mudavadi said that NASA has been captured.

“Hiyo wakati nilikuwa nasema Nasa hawa, lakini siku hizi, nikama Nasa imenaswa. (I used to say NASA hawa, but nowadays, it is like NASA itself has been captured.),” Mudavadi said.
