Kalonzo advised to negotiate for a better deal should he work with Raila in 2022

Wiper leader Kalono Musyoka has sensationally claimed that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga did not apply to be the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance presidential flag bearer.

Political analyst Edward Kisiang’ani has advised Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to negotiate for a better deal if he decides to work with ODM leader Raila Odinga again.

This comes barely days after the former Prime Minister dropped the clearest hint he may reunite with his 2013 and 2017 presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.

But taking to his official social media pages, the analyst advised the former Vice President to negotiate for a better deal than what he did in both 2013 and 2017.

Political analyst Edward Kisiang’ani has advised Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to negotiate for a better deal if he decides to work with ODM leader Raila Odinga again.

Kisiang’ani went ahead and advised Kalonzo to even demand KSh 10 billion from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake partner Raila Odinga for him to support his 2022 candidature.

“There has been enhanced speculation that Kalonzo Musyoka could be joining Raila for 2022. Steve, is that true? Go for it without apologies! But make sure you negotiate for a better deal than you did in both 2013 and 2017. Don’t move cheaply. I suggest you ask for 10B!,” Kisiang’ani said in a Tweet seen by Kivumbi.co.ke.

Over the weekend, the Wiper leader who has vowed not to play a second fiddle for ODM leader Raila Odinga accused ODM residential ticket contender Jimmy Wanjigi of fixing him in the 2013 and 2017 General Election.

Kalonzo who was speaking on Sunday, November 28, during a fundraiser at AIC Daystar Church in Mavoko, Machakos County said that Wanjigi is so powerful that he was able to convince him to support ODM party leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in 2017.

Last week, Raila weighed in on the possibility of working with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of the 2022 election.

“I am sure what Kalonzo (Musyoka) wants is what Raila wants. Going forward our roads will meet again. Come December 9, 2021, I will speak,” Raila said.
