There has been a heated debate on who is the legal party leader of FORD Kenya between Wafula Wamunyinyi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.

Recently, the Wamunyiyi-led faction trashed Moses Wetangula’s decision to walk out of the NASA coalition, terming it as non-official.

They said Wetangula’s decision was null and void since other FORD-Kenya members were not involved.

“Stop engaging other parties masquerading as the official leader of the party. We’d like other parties to know that anything they are doing with Wetang’ula is in a non-official capacity,” the Kanduyi MP said.

Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu challenged Wetangula to pick an election date to select the Party’s leadership.
