Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wa Muchomba has cautioned fellow women against vying for the position.

In an interview with a vernacular YouTube platform, Gathoni Wa Muchomba said that the position comes with a huge responsibility and limited resources thus can kill one’s political career.

“It is big but quite limited and will destroy their political career,” Kiambu Woman Representative warned.

The 46-year-old legislator also revealed that she has a bigger political dream, that of being Kenya’s president in the future.

“I am determined to be the president by the time I am 60 years. When my opponents speak against me, I always tell them, I am his seed,

“If God gives me life, I will be the president. That is my vision. It is something that God has pushed in my mind for many days and even when I resist, it still comes back,” Wa Muchomba said.

The Kiambu Woman Representative has not revealed the position she will be contesting in the 2022 General Election.

As she thinks of her political career, Gathoni Wa Muchomba has aligned herself in Deputy President William Ruto’s camp.

Once a staunch supporter of President Uhuru Kenyatta, Wa Muchomba joined UDA on June 24. She said she reached the decision after consultations with Kiambu residents.

“I have changed my loyalty from President Uhuru’s government and I am going to support William Ruto’s camp. My instincts tell me as a politician, I should follow my people, and that is what I am doing,” said MP Gathoni Wa Muchomba

While ditching Uhuru’s camp, Wa Muchomba pointed a finger at Jubilee Party for their dictatorial leadership.
