There have been murmurs from both Kenya Kwanza and Azimio la Umoja that they cannot easily access President William Ruto.

For instance, Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga last week asked President Ruto’s inner cycle not to spoil the Head of State by making it hard for other leaders to access him.

“Don’t spoil our President the way you spoilt the former President by ending up not receiving our calls. Allow us to have access to our President the way we used to have,” he said.

On Monday, October 10, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro confirmed that it is not easy accessing President William Ruto.

While describing Farouk as swift in coordinating activities whenever the President is about to attend functions, Nyoro said even Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua must seek permission from President Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet.

“Farouk’s office is that of the President of Kenya. Because you can’t access the president if Farouk says no. Even the deputy president who is my friend to reach him Farouk must say yes,” Kiharu MP said during a thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 9, in Ainabkoi, Uasin Gishu.

Speaking at the service organized by Farouk at Koilel Primary school, the deputy president exposed Farouk’s grip of influence, hailing him for his suave organization and management style.

“In our victory, he really contributed immensely. Farouk planned almost everything from planning our helicopters, and breakfast so that no visitor leaves without taking something, to talking to people well, Farouk contributed in a big way. We thank you (people of Uasin Gishu) for your son,” Gachagua said.

Farouk was the right-hand man of the deputy president since he joined active politics during late President Daniel Moi’s regime.

Ruto later nominated helped him to be nominated Wareng councilor in Uasin Gishu County
