“I battled Endometriosis and Adenomyosis which are menstrual health related diseases for over 15 years and through this experience, I identified gaps in our healthcare system that motivated me to advocate for better access to healthcare for our communities in Dagoretti South,” Njambi’s post read.

The legendary radio presenter further revealed that she was born and bred in Dagoretti and her dream is to transform the constituency.

“Growing up in Dagoretti, I experienced the harsh living conditions in our community due to lack of resources. The spirit of community and service to others was instilled in me at an early age because we had to take care of each other as family, neighbors and friends,” she wrote.

Koikai said she will be running as an independent candidate for the Dagoretti South Parliamentary seat.

She joins a growing list of radio presenters who will be vying for several political seats in the upcoming General Election.

Last week, Churchill live Show comedian Jasper Muthomi, alias MC Jessy confirmed that he will be vying for Imenti South parliamentary seat on a UDA party ticket in the August 9, General Election.

The long-time Churchill live Show comedian said he joined William Ruto’s camp after consulting the electorate in his constituency, who okayed his move to the Tanga Tanga political wing.
