Deputy President William Ruto yesterday February 27, jetted out of the country for a 10-day tour of the US, the United Kingdom (UK), and Qatar.
In a document seen by Kivumbi.co.ke, the second in command is accompanied by a delegation of 31 people.
According to the document, the DP Ruto and his entourage will be visiting the USA from Sunday 27, February to Saturday 5, March 2022 and then proceed to the United Kingdom from Saturday 5 to Tuesday 8, March, they will then head to Qatar from Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 March.

In a statement pertaining to the trip, DP Ruto’s International Relations Advisor Ababu Namwamba said the second in command will be honoring invites by senior government officials and top policy institutes.
Ababu added that the DP is expected to will share his thoughts on foreign policy, democracy, and governance, and expound his economic vision for Kenya and Africa.
“Kenya remains a stable regional anchor State and a valued member of the global community, and the Deputy President’s trip seeks to further strengthen ties with the country’s traditional friends and partners,” Ababu Namwamba said.
