List of MPs who voted against BBI bill

by Enock Ndayala
BBI

Battle lines were drawn in the National Assembly on Thursday, May 6, when over 320 Members of Parliament voted for or against the BBI bill.

Out of the 320 legislators who participated, a whooping 235 voted in support of the Bill that seeks to amend the Kenyan Constitution 2010 while 83 voted against with only two absconding.

Majority of legislators who voted against the bill are allies to Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto except Tanga Tanga die hard Kimani Ngunjiri who interestingly voted in favor of the Bill.
