Man tattoos William Ruto’s portrait on his back

by Enock Ndayala

A man believed to be a staunch supporter of the deputy president has shocked many after tattooing a portrait of William Ruto on his back.

The 26-year-old identified as Kevin Waithaka said he got the tattoo to honour William Ruto for his good leadership.

He claims that the former Jubilee deputy party leader has been a motivation to the youth for rising from a humble background to become one of the most prominent politicians in Kenya.

A man believed to be a staunch supporter of the deputy president has shocked many after painting a portrait of William Ruto on his back.

“William Ruto has been a good leader; he has been a motivation to the youth. I have seen what he has done to the people. I have personally benefited from him and I know people who he has helped. I can’t thank him enough,” said Waithaka.

Waithaka, who hails from Nairobi’s Kitengela estate, said the tattoo of the second in command cost him a whooping KSh 8,000 in what appears to be a clear demonstration of how ‘loyal’ he is to the deputy president.

He urged the youth to support Ruto’s presidential bid since he has what it takes to transform the country.

“I would urge the youth and all Kenyans to stand with Ruto so that he can help us when he ascends to power,” he said.

In July 2021, a lady caught the attention of social media users after she got a “Ruto Tosha 2022” tattoo.

In a video that went viral, the lady in question –whose identity hasn’t been unveiled yet– was spotted rocking a huge tattoo on her back that shows allegiance to the Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto.

The huge tattoo on her back read, “Ruto Tosha 2022” which is loosely translated to “Ruto is enough 2022” ahead of the upcoming August 9, General Election.
