Martha Karua joins Raila on campaign trail

Days after joining Azimio la Umoja coalition, Martha Karua, has today joined the Raila on a campaign trail in Western Kenya.

Days after joining the yet-to-registered Azimio la Umoja grand coalition, NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua, has joined the Raila on a campaign trail in Western Kenya.

On Saturday, March 26, Karua accompanied the ODM leader on his tour of Kakamega county where he is holding a series of campaign rallies.

Speaking at Kwisero market, Karua reminded the Mulembe nation that Mt Kenya will vote for the ODM leader hence they should not abandon him.

“If you see me here, just know that Mt Kenya has accepted Raila’s candidature. I and my NARCK-Kenya party, have vowed to ensure Raila gets to State House,” Martha Karua said.

Karua praised the ODM leader, saying he has been at the forefront of fighting for the freedom of all Kenyans.

“In all his life, he has been fighting for justice in the country on behave of Kenyans, he has no hatred, he stands for peace, we must all turn out and vote for Raila.

In an indirect reference to DP Ruto, Karua called on Kenyans not to entertain politicians who preach the politics of insults.

Narc Kenya party leader’s move come after she officially joined the yet-to-be registered Azimio la Umoja grand coalition whose presidential aspirant is the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Wednesday, March 3, as she officially declared Raila Tosha, Prime Minister the ‘Iron lady’ had said that his party will campaign for Raila until he wins the upcoming election.

“From now onwards, Narc Kenya and I are supporting the Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga,” Karua said.

Unlike Martha Karua, his Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has ever joined Raila in a campaign rally apart from the mega rally at Jacaranda, where Raila was declared the Azimio la Umoja presidential aspirant.
