While terming the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party Presidential candidate as a coward, Miguna further said that by not recognizing William Ruto as President, Raila was on his own.

“Please tell conman Raila Odinga that General Miguna Miguna isn’t available to swear him in as the People’s President, nor am I prepared to help him boycott or resist the duly-elected President of the Republic of Kenya. The cowardly and treacherous conman is on his own!” Miguna Miguna said in a Tweet.

Miguna was deported after swearing in Raila Odinga as the People’s President and spent the whole second term of the Jubilee regime in exile.

But Miguna who jetted back into the country last year after President Ruto took over the leadership and has been accusing Raila and the former Head of State Uhuru Kenyatta of forcing him out of the country.

Addressing his supporters at the Kamkunji grounds after jetting back into the country from South Africa, Raila said that he does not recognize William Ruto as the country’s president.

Odinga said the presidential election in August last year was rigged against him.

“We cannot and will not recognize the Kenya Kwanza regime and consider its government illegitimate,” Odinga said.

He added that as the opposition in Kenya, “we do not recognize William Ruto as the president of Kenya and we equally do not recognize any officials in the office with him.”
