Miguna promises to buy Raila lunch if he defeats Ruto in August presidential race

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga will be facing off with Deputy President Willliam Ruto in the hotly anticipated 2022 presidential elections.

Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna has promised to buy Azimio la Umoja –One Kenya alliance presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga lunch if he defeats his main challenger William Ruto.

The controversial lawyer said would take Raila Odinga out and treat him to a sumptuous dinner at Canada’s ‘most expensive restaurant’ if he wins the presidency.

“If Raila Odinga wins, I’ll treat him to a sumptuous dinner at the most expensive restaurant in Canada,” Miguna Miguna said in a Tweet.

He however said that if the Kenya Kwanza presidential flag bearer William Ruto wins, he is the one who will buy the exiled lawyer lunch in Canada.

“A pact with my best friend: If William Ruto wins on August 9, he will treat me to a sumptuous dinner at the most expensive restaurant in Canada,” Miguna added.

When asked what he will do if the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka wins the presidency, Miguna said he will buy each other the best watermelons from the state of Georgia or Alabama.

“We will buy each other the best watermelons from the State of Georgia or Alabama and feast on them all the way to Nairobi!”

Last week, the controversial barrister suggested that only confused voters from the Luo community will cast their votes in favor of the ODM leader during the upcoming August presidential election.

In a statement posted on his Twitter on Thursday, May 19, Miguna who has declared his support for the 2022 presidential election front runner William Ruto exuded confidence that the second in command will win the August polls by a big margin.

“William Ruto is going to perform better than Mwai Kibaki did in 2002 when Daniel Arap Moi still had remnants of Rift Valley voters who helped the drunkard Uhuru Kenyatta get some votes,” he said.
