Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu and Mugithi star Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu almost exchanged blows in Dubai on Friday, December 16.
This was after the UDA senator interrupted musician Samidoh’s much-hyped show.
According to videos circulating online, the drama started when Karen Nyamu went straight to where Samidoh was seated and forcefully sat on his lap.
This elicited sharp reactions from Kenyan politicians and artists who flooded social media faulting Nyamu for forcing herself to someone’s husband.
While advising her to avoid reckless sexual relations, former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko slammed Karen Nyamu for following her baby Dady Samidoh.
“Karen my sister you have a very bright future. I know you as a strong bright woman even before you met this karao wa Mugithi,
“Hebu punguza drama kidogo wacha kufinywa finywa na kuzaa ovyo ovyo kama paka bila mpangilio. Unfauta baby Dady hata akiwa na wife,” Mike Sonko said.
He advised the lawmaker to focus on his job first adding that President William Ruto’s party left out so many loyalists who wanted to be nominated.
Sonko told Nyamu to be patient adding that God will give her a good man.
“UDA left out so many loyalists who wanted to be nominated and just favored you for the position,
“Kindly focus on your job and God will give you a good husband, not like Samidoh,” Sonko said.
Sonko’s advice comes just hours after Nyamu announced to end of her relationship with Samidoh.
“Great and powerful women will attest that many times our weakest link is the men we get involved with. I am stopping the pattern,” she said.
Earlier on, Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale defended senator Karen Nyamu asking trolls to give her a break.
“I’m appealing to KOT (inflated as you are) to give Senator Karen Nyamu a break. Here is a young woman who loves her man but unfortunately the guy has no idea how to manage his wife,” Khalwale said.
