Mike Sonko curses friends who misled him to fight President Uhuru

by Enock Ndayala

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has sensationally revealed that his close friends misled him to fight President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Sonko in a long Facebook post on Thursday, January 20, said he almost killed himself following bad advice from his friends at City Hall.

While paying tribute to the late Capital FM DJ Lithium, who died on the morning of Thursday, January 20, under unclear circumstances, Sonko without mentioning names claimed that his former allies advised him to pick a fight with President Uhuru Kenyatta but went behind his back and rooted for his impeachment.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has sensationally revealed that his close friends misled him to fight President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“There was a time I almost committed suicide at City Hall after realising that my close friends at the county assembly and one from EALA sold me out. They incited and advised me to pick a fight with the Head of State over the changes at City Hall,

“They advised the president that I should be removed,” Sonko said.

The former County boss further alleged that the friends now turned foes, duped him to not sign the first budget that was to be given to the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS).

Sonko however, said he will ensure those who misled him to pick a fight with the Head of State pay dearly for their ill motives even if it will take longer.

“And I want to tell them for free and I don’t care no matter how long it takes but one day I will ensure they deeply pay for their ill motives,” he added.

He urged men going through stress to open up just like how ladies do.

“At times we men go through a lot of stress and depression and don’t open up to friends like how women discuss their issues with fellow women coz 90 percent of our own silent enemies are our own friends,” he said.
