Millicent Omanga most preferred candidate for next Nairobi woman representative

Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga is the most preferred Nairobi Woman Representative according to a poll released on October 18.

The research conducted by Mizani showed that 29.0% of Nairobians would vote for Millicent Omanga if the 2022 General Elections are held today.

The findings proved that Omanga, who is a member of William Ruto’s UDA camp will defeat the current Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris.

About 24.8% of Nairobians said that they would vote for Esther Passaris if she defends her seat in the 2022 elections.

on the other hand, 22.9% of Nairobi residents will vote for former Woman Representative Rachael Shebesh, who lost to Esther Passaris in the 2017 General Election.

Politician Karen Nyamu followed with 15.6% of the votes, Tabitha Mutinda at 4.1% and other unnamed candidates at 3.6%

The research published by Mizani Africa showed that ODM’s Tim Wanyonyi is the most preferred man to be next Nairobi governor.

37.2% of Nairobians will vote for Westlands MP Tim Wanyoyi as their governor if the 2022 General Election is held today.

Other candidates behind Tim Wanyonyi ranked as follows;

30.3% – Agnes Kagure.

15.7% – Margaret Wanjiru

6.3% – Johnson Sakaja,

5.8% – William Kabogo

1.8% – Anne Mwenda Kananu

1.3% – Mike Sonko

1.1 % – Peter Kenneth

0. 5% – Dennis Waweru

On the senatorial post, ODM Secretary Edwin Sifuna stood out as the most preferred candidate.

Sifuna would receive votes of 50.6% of the total number of people interviewed across the county.

Other candidates for the senatorial position ranked as follows;

Fredrick Otieno with 17.3%

Sylvia Kasanga at 9.5 %

Julie Kabogo at 8.9%

Omulo Junior at 8.2%
