Mombasa man shaves Raila’s portrait on back of his head

by Amos Khaemba

It’s a political season, and supporters are inventing ways of expressing their love for their favorite candidates, just like a Mombasa man who inscribed Raila’s portrait back of his head.

Many supporters will do just anything as a show of love and support for the candidates.

A Mombasa-based barber identified as Msanii The Barber was recently given a massive challenge by a client who wanted to express his love of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

The client who definitely is a die-hard fan of the former prime minister, wanted the barber to give him a haircut incorporating Raila’s face behind his head.

With precision, Msanii gave his client a killer haircut, he creatively shaved him and colored the name ‘Rao’ with Raila’s face perfectly at the backside of his client’s head.

Msanii The Barber took to social media and shared what he termed one of the hardest haircut jobs he has ever done.

He felt satisfied with the work of his hand as he said the results were satisfying and worth every second it took him to achieve.

“Art is timeless, art is priceless, art is everything that makes me tick, this took a lot of concentration and willingness, but results are always satisfying. Always excited to bring out the artsy side of me, it’s a hard one, but worth every second of it,” Msanii The Barder wrote on Facebook.

The Raila man in Mombasa is not alone, another Kenya in Kitengela proved his allegiance to Deputy President William Ruto through a tattoo on his back.

The man painted a portrait of Ruto in a detailed tattoo that clearly showed his face, shirt, coat, and necktie.
