Moses Kuria demands 8 cabinet positions for Mt Kenya after 2022 elections

Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria on Thursday, September 21, launched an industrial park in Bondo, Siaya County.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has said that the Mt Kenya region will be demanding 8 Cabinet positions from the government of the day in 2022.

The Mt Kenya Unity Forum in conjunction with Moses Kuria has come up with names of the 8 Cabinet positions that they want to take over after the 2022 General Election.

Kuria argues that 8 Cabinet positions mean that the Mt Kenya region demands only 40% of the ministries.

He added that they are ready to negotiate with a presidential candidate that assures them of the 40% of the slots in the cabinet.

Moses Kuria listed the ministries, giving reasons why they should be given to Mt Kenya people.

The demands from the Mt Kenya Unity Forum comes amid revelations from William Ruto’s UDA that it will only sign deals with small parties after the 2022 General Election.

Moses Kuria and other regional party leaders such as mwangi Kiunjuri have been pushing for a deal with William Ruto in order to assure him of the Mt Kenya vote in 2022 polls.
