Moses Kuria predicts Ruto to win the presidential race in round

A section of Kenya kwanza government officials including cabinet secretaries have been making statements perceived as not only disrespectful but also arrogant.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has predicted that the Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer William Ruto will with the August 9 presidential election in round one.

On Saturday, May 28, Kuria provided detailed protection of the 2022 election where he suggested that 17,240,993 people will turn out to vote.

According to the outspoken lawmaker, Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer will garner 10, 578,553 votes which translates to 61.36 %.

On the hand, the Gatundu South MP projects that the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga get 6,662, 441 votes, which is equivalent to 34.64%

With the figures provided by the legislators, DP Ruto will satisfy the 50% + 1 vote constitutional requirement for one to be declared a winner of a presidential election in round one.

Kuria, who is also a gubernatorial candidate for Kiambu County, projects that the Kenya Kwanza alliance will wok scope more votes from the populous Mt Kenya region.

According to Kuria, Deputy President William Ruto will get 3,960, 368 votes from the ten counties of Mt Kenya.

Kuria, a strong critic of President Uhuru Kenyatta opines that even with the support of the president, the ODM leader will not get more than a million votes.

The Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential flag bearer will only manage 990,093 votes from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard.

In Nairobi County which has 2,505,100 registered voters, DP Ruto will get 1,052,142 votes while his main competitor, Raila Odinga will get 701,428 according to Kuria’s analysis.

Prediction by the Gatundu South MP slightly mirrors an online survey by Mutahi Ngunyi, a staunch critic of the Kenya Kwanza alliance team.

According to the poll by the vocal analyst, the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga will be defeated during the first round of the election.

Out of 89,715 those who participated in the Twitter survey, 51 % said they will vote for DP Ruto in the coming August General Elections.

The former prime minister garnered 41 %, with 3% of the respondents saying they are undecided on whoever they will vote for as the president come August 9.
