With 71 days to the General Election, Babu Owino like other politicians from all political formations is doing strange things in the name of seeking votes.
The Embakasi East MP caused an uproar after he was captured enjoying a ‘bend over’ dance with a lady at a political rally at Soweto in Embakasi East on Friday, May 27.
In the video that elicited a lot of reaction, the lady is seen twerking very hard as the outspoken MP enjoyed dancing from her behind.
At some point, seemingly happy Babu is seen touching the waist of the lady who was dressed in an orange dress as the crowd cheered.
From the short clip, the legislator would have enjoyed it more had he not ordered the lady to stop dancing.
Kenyans reacted differently as some blasted the legislator for behaving like that in front of children.
One social media user called on the custodians of Ethics,Leadership and Integrity, to ensure leaders like the Embakasi East MP are not cleared to vie for an elective post in August.
A random Twitter user Clement said, “Big shame !!! When people lacks ideas to sell this is what they do.”
“Its campaign time just enjoy the music, what about at the dark corner what do u expect, relax,” Olmurani, another Twitter user.
“Babu Owino it was a quite unprecedent to have such dance just for the ground to cheer you up.” Kipleting said on Twitter.
Recently vocal senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi fired a jibe at Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party politicians saying they are only good at dancing.
“When it comes to dances and moves…azimio is the place to be…Best moves in town by a mile!!! Look at these breathtaking moves by my two lovely brothers..” Ahmednasir said on Twitter.
