MP claims William Ruto bribed Mudavadi KSh 300 million to work with him

by Enock Ndayala

Lugari MP Ayub Savula has sensationally claimed that Deputy President William Ruto paid ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to a tune of KSh 300 million to work with him in the upcoming elections.

During a morning radio show on Tuesday, January 25, the former ANC deputy party leader said that Ruto also awarded Mudavadi a multimillion house in Nairobi’s Karen.

“Malala has a house built by Ruto in Kakamega. Musalia’s house in Karen Tuju has told me was also built by Ruto. The Jubilee Party secretary-general called me and said Ruto had given Musalia Mudavadi KSh 300m,” Savula said.

Lugari MP Ayub Savula has sensationally claimed that Deputy President William Ruto paid ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to a tune of KSh 300 million to work with him in the upcoming elections.

Savula further explained that he was informed by Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju that these were some of the goodies the deputy president enticed the former vice president with in order for him to shelve his statehouse ambitions in favour of William Ruto.

The vocal legislator said that he stands by his word and can swear an affidavit to say Mudavadi was given a house to drop out of the August 9, 2022, presidential race.

“He called me and I can go to court and swear an affidavit. I don’t fear anything. We can go to Safaricom and they will show my conversation with Tuju. We don’t want people toying around with the Luhya community. If Musalia didn’t want to be a president he shouldn’t have toyed with the Luhyas all these years,” declared Savula.

Savula’s allegations come barely two days after Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday, January 23, pledged to work with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Masika Wetang’ula.

“We will work with Amani National Congress, Ford Kenya, and like-minded parties that want to walk this journey of bringing Kenyans together,” William Ruto said.
