Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to block ex-Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s social media platforms.

Sonko recorded his source, Merry Nkatha without her consent as she revealed to him the plans ongoing at the Nairobi County.

In the recording, Nkatha showed Mike Sonko her private part, asking to go out with him in what has puzzeld many Kenyans..

Now, the Woman Rep wants Sonko blocked from social media for propagating gender-based violence.

“Today we have seen another woman who was exposed by a man that I don’t think is worthy to be called a leader in this country,

“That kind of violation to a woman is wrong. I am calling on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, you can block all the social media platforms of that man that has terrorised women in this country,” she said without directly mentioning Mike Sono.

The MP added that Sonko should be denied any media attention.

“He has a low self-esteem that enables him to abuse women through social media platforms,” she stated.

The Nairobi Woman Rep was once a victim of Sonko’s leaks, where he shared a recording of the latter borrowing him KSh 500,000 to give ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Sonko began the recent exposès a day before the swearing-in of Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu on November 16.

He detailed how high-ranking personalities from the judiciary, State House, and Nairobi County Assembly allegedly orchestrated his removal.

The ex-governor mentioned judge Said Chitembwe as a beneficiary of the money paid to determine Sonko’s impeachment and facilitate the swearing-in of Anne Kanani.

In one of the recordings a man, by the name Amana Saidi Jirani, allegedly a relative and pointman of Judge Chitembwe said that he collected KSh 3, 900,000 and delivered it to the judge.

“I am the one who takes care of the interests of Judge  Chitembwe. George from State House blackmailed the MCAs. After speaking with George at Maendeleo House, we went to an office at the upper hill,” Jirani said.

Another scene captured Chitembwe saying he can facilitate some court procedures.

“I know if you have money we can facilitate these things in court very fast. One writes.. under the table, he calls his clients to sign. Give me the papers I will do that job at the court of appeal,” Chitembwe was captured saying.

The exposè led to Mike Sonko being sued and a gag order placed on him by the high court.
