Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi is on the spot for forging his college and high school academic certificates presented to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC).

Sudi was exposed by a former head of examinations at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), where he claimed to have pursued his diploma.

The officer told a Nairobi court that the college admission number on a diploma certificate that MP Oscar Sudi presented to the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission belongs to a woman named Scholastica Achieng Odhiambo.

“The admission number NRB/20879 belongs to Scholastica Achieng Odhiambo of diploma in management of NGOs.The student was registered in 2005,” John Matsheshe said in his submission.

Matseshe further revealed that the serial number written on Oscar Sudi’s diploma certificate belonged to Elkanah K. Kimutai who graduated on September 24, 2009, with a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management.

“The number 36262 on the certificate presented to me belongs to a document issued to Elkanah K. Kimutai of admission number NRB/20870. As per our records, the said Oscar Kipchumba Sudi never registered as a student of the institute,” he added.

The court was also told that the KCSE certificate that Oscar Sudi claims to be his belonged to a man named Obaje Bob Onyango who was registered and sat for the national examinations at Parklands Secondary school.

Responding to the expose, Oscar Sudi has accused the Media of being biased, saying he has witnesses ready to prove them wrong.

“I have seen busybodies prosecuting my case in the court of public opinion. Why can’t they wait for the court process to take its course? When it’s my turn I will align over 50 witnesses on my side,” he wrote in a social media post.

The MP joins a long list of William Ruto allies who are on the radar of EACC over corruption and forgery allegations.
