Lurambi MP Titus Khamala has termed as fake news media reports claiming Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi will work with Deputy President William Ruto.

In a video posted by the ANC party on Tuesday, January 11, the vocal legislator said the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principal is not a (political) weakling.

“I have sat with Party leader Musalia Mdavadi many times. We have talked, looked each other in the eye… There is no single day Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi has told me that he is going to support the deputy president,

“No single day has he said he is going to UDA. The message that Musalia Mudavdi is going to United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is just a creation of haters and propaganda that must be dismissed by equal measures,” MP Titus Khamala said.

He further stated that Mudavadi has got financial means, enough to give William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga a run for their money.

“He (Musalia Mudavadi) is not handicapped financially,” the former clergyman added.

This comes at a time when the former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary has been persuading to have Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula join William Ruto camp.

During his recent visit to the Western region, the deputy president- who had earlier said he will not work with regional kingpins-made a U-turn stating that he needs the two former NASA principals.

Speaking at the Mumias Sports Complex in Kakamega County during a football tournament organized by area senator Cleophas Malala, Ruto said unlike other leaders allied to Raila’s Azimio la Umoja, Mudavai and Wrtang’ula are not political brokers.

“Mudavadi and Wetang’ula are the only legitimate leaders of the Mulembe nation and as a community, you should support them. Tell them they should join the ‘hustler’ nation so that we can form the next government together,” William Ruto said.
