Musalia Mudavadi challenged to hold big political rallies without Ruto

by Enock Ndayala

City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has challenged ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to demonstrate his political prowess by holding pulling big political crowds similar to once done by Deputy President William Ruto.

Taking to his social media platforms on Tuesday, February 1, the lawyer accused the former One Kenya Alliance co-principal of riding on William Ruto’s name to attract a big crowd.

He said since he joined William Ruto on Sunday, January 23, Mudavadi’s influence to attract huge crowds has dwindled to an extent he cannot attract 20 people in a stadium.

“Musalia Mudavadi, a spoilt child is equally fraudulent… he uses a campaign poster with William Ruto on it knowing well the deputy president won’t be joining the advertised rallies,

“Let Musalia man up and do rallies with posters bearing his photo only … though he knows well, he can’t attract 20 people in a stadium,” Kipkori claimed.

His remarks come following a joint political rally to popularise the Kenya Kwanza Alliance in the city on Tuesday, February 1, ahead of the August 9, General Election

Mudavadi was accompanied by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula, Westlands MP hopeful Nelson Havi, and Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja in a rally that Deputy President William Ruto skipped.

The rally by the Kenya Kwanza coalition saw allies of William Ruto and those of Musalia Mudavadi involve in a verbal altercation.

Nairobi Senator, Johnson Sakaja allied to ANC and gubernatorial aspirant Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of UDA was embroiled in a battle to address the constituents.

Kivumbi.co.ke understands that trouble began after Sakaja who was in charge of the program cut short Wanjiru’s speech before she had finished selling her candidature to the city residents putting Mudavadi and Ruto poll deal unity to test.
