A day later, there were media reports the Raila and Moi discussed a possible alliance as well as how to tame Deputy President William Ruto.

In an interview with Citizen TV, the former vice president dismissed the claims and suggeste the two leaders could have been discussing dowry.

“Perhaps they (Raila, Gideon and Muhoho) were discussing dowry…maybe their children want to get married. We are pushing it too far,” and visibly agitated Mudavadi said.

It is worth noting Mudavadi is already in a political agreement with Gideon Moi, Moses Wetangula, and Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of the 2022 General Election.
